Board of Review Meeting - Aug 26, 2026
Altoona completed a full market revaluation this year, with residential values up 11.26% on average, commercial up 8.36%, and land values up about 20% in some neighborhoods. The assessor removed old 'view' and 'hill' adjustments — most notably in Otter Creek Trail — which meant some lots saw much bigger swings than others. Next year is a maintenance year with values rolled over unchanged.
