$1.19M fire engine purchase

Future city facilities: county building, library, and fire station
Discussion revealed the city can't afford a new fire station without a big grant, but is buying the property near the trailer park and may improve the existing station next year.
Bauer Street fire station roof repair
Ice dams caused serious water damage to the fire station's office area. The emergency declaration lets the city skip the normal bidding process to fix it fast, using general fund reserves while an insurance claim is pursued. A full roof replacement is expected this summer.
Chippewa Fire District Agreement
The proposed agreement transferring Fire/EMS services went to closed session but no action was taken; a special meeting was called for March 30 to decide it.
